Update on the Carstensz Situation

I just received an interesting email from Franky Kowaas, our contact over in Indonesia regarding some of the other outfitters who are claiming to be able to get permits to Carstensz Pyramid. I'll just paste his email below:

Hi Todd !

Todd Burleson and group, they stuck on Timika without the legal permit, yesterday Todd Burleson call me 3 times, and need my help !!! He told me realy sorry, to disappointed me, and now he know that he make wrong dicided not going with me !!!

The Belgians team 8 person, also stuck on Timika, without legal permit, and the Belgians, they try to use my helicopter on Nabire, but the helicopter crew told to them, must be contact Franky kowaas in Manado !!!

So...Todd that's the reality, is not EASY to organize Carstenz !!! There have Indonesia people who is always make promised and guaranteed and finaly they disappointed many people or agent, cause they can not proof what they say !!!
